ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Gayle Knight is a retired public school teacher who spent thirty-two years teaching and loving, especially loving, other people’s children. She is proud to be called “Miss G.”

She was born and raised in the small Florida community of Wauchula. After graduation from Florida State University she came back home again to be among her ever-growing family of nieces, nephews, and “greats.”

Gayle loves to travel and has been from Canada to Central America to the British Isles to Scandinavia and so on. One memorable year was spent teaching in Australia.

For her, an enjoyable day is reading, napping with her cat Sassy, and of course writing.
